Brianna and Baby Scootles

Brianna and Caden have been playing baby today. Brianna is the mom and Caden is the baby. She named him Baby Scootles. Here is what he looks like as Baby Scootles....

Brianna pushes him around in this doll stroller and he keeps his fingers in his mouth and talks like a baby. It's hilarious to watch them!

He's SUCH a mess!!

So, we went to playgroup this morning at 9:30. When we got home around noon, I realized the thermostat said 62 degrees. I wondered why it was so low because it was set on 69, but I had been bringing in groceries, and it's SO cold and windy outside that I just thought that maybe alot of heat had gotten out. At 1:00 it still wasn't warming up at all. The thermostat now read 61. So I thought maybe there was a window open or something. I checked all the windows, but they were all closed. I felt the air coming out of the vents and it was cold, so I thought maybe the pilot light had went out. That's when I noticed this....

See the little red chair under the thermostat? You guessed it....Caden struck again!! He not only switched it to A/C. He also lowered it to 61 degrees!!

Recently, Chris was getting home from work late on a Wed. night. So, Caden was going to stay home from church with him. Well, Brianna couldn't have that! She cried to stay home too! But, of course, as soon as I left, she was crying to go with me. Chris decided to make cookies with her to make her happy. As you can tell, she was SO proud of her & daddy's cookies!

Fall Fun Finale!

Sunday Nov. 2 was one of the last days of beautiful weather. We spent it by going to Lake Glendale after church. We had a picnic and played there all afternoon. It was 70 degrees outside! I took over 100 pics...so here are just a few!

Alex walked into the living room today and Brianna and Caden were sitting in the chair together. Brianna was kissing Caden all over his face and Caden was trying to get away. Alex said, "Stop kissing him Brianna!" Brianna said, "Go away Alex! Me and Caden are falling in love!"

It was pretty chilly last week, but Brianna & Caden were tired of being inside, so I let them play on the deck for a while. They had a picnic for about 30 minutes before it started raining.

Pumpkin Patch

Brianna & Caden went to the pumpkin patch recently with play group. They rode on the bus, went on a hayride, picked 2 little pumpkins each and played there. They had lots of fun!

They were just as excited to ride the bus as going to the pumpkin patch!

Trouble

Caden gets in trouble ALOT. He has to sit on the bench and sometimes I forget he's there! Today, he fell asleep while waiting on me to let him down.

The kids had a busy day yesterday. After church, they played hard with Grandpa Mark and Grandma Cyndi all afternoon. After we brought them home, Brianna fell asleep in the floor like this...

About 30 minutes later, Caden kept asking to go to bed. I put him in bed, covered him up, and said, "Do you want to say your prayer?" He said, "Uhh...Huh!" Usually he says it with me, but last night he didn't. I said, "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep" and he was snoring! He couldn't even make it through the whole prayer!

We went to the Super Sizzlin Summer day at church today. They had a drawing for a Wii and Brianna won! She was happy, but wasn't really sure what it was. Alex, on the other hand, was very excited! He and Trenton have wanted one since they came out.
